The red pod of death

This morning for breakfast, I had pineapple, a big slice, cut up in squares. They eat the core here too, but I figure, what´s a little more fiber??
I also had a little omelet/scrambled egg thing that had bits of ham in it and THE RED POD OF DEATH. I guess because I had been eating a bit of salsa, Lorena thought I was ready for the big leagues, and she put not so little pieces of those dried red pepper seed pods in my eggs. It was good, but it sure cleaned out my sinuses!
