The Museo Dolores Olmedo is on the south side of Mexico City, near Xochimilcho... kind of. She was a wealthy woman who was politically and socially active. She bought this beautiful ranch, and now it's a museum. It has the biggest collection of Frida Kahlo art anywhere, and lots of Diego Rivera works too. No pictures of the art here, but lots of the beautiful grounds!
This is a statue of the rare Mexican hairless dogs that live there. I did not pet them.
This is a really lovely door.
Look closely... peacock babies!
I thought the peacock butts were as interesting as the fronts. Fluffy and pretty!
It must have been mating season. They were really showing off.
Here is another pretty bird. I couldn't stop taking pictures of them. And friendly.
Just lovely, a little tired.
An orange tree in the garden.
And the maguey. Baby tequila!
